This is a very nice bakelite and glass Art-deco ashtray. It is French circa 1920. The glass insert is probably not the original one but it fits very well. The quality and condition of both pieces are good. The dark tan colour is quite neutral, but it would combine particuarly well with nutwood or black laquered Art-deco furniture! An original gift for a smoker or a bakelite collector.

The ashtray measures the following:

Height: .75 ins. ~ 2 cm.  

Width: 4.75 ins. ~ 12.5 cm. 

Depth: 4.75 ins. ~ 12.5 cm
