This is a very unique collectable piece of sterling silver.
It is French circa 1920. It was made by the famous silversmith
Jean Emile Puiforcat. It is guilded inside and has an ivory
handle that can be screwed off for cleaning puposes. It has a
very stylish monogram which I unfortunately cannot decipher. It
is hallmarked with the minerva head and underneath EP,
Puiforcats signature. The quality and condition are very good.
This sauceboat is a beautiful and at the same time functional
piece of sterling silver.
It weighs in total 8 ozs. ~ 228 gramms.
The sauceboat measures the following:
Height: 2.25 ins. ~ 5.5 cm.
Width including handle: 9 ins. ~ 23 cm.
